5. Data Storage and Retention
All records are stored securely in encrypted digital files or locked physical storage.
Where digital services are used (such as email or online video platforms), I ensure they are reputable providers and take appropriate steps to maintain confidentiality.
Counselling records are retained for 7 years after the end of therapy, in line with professional guidance, and are then securely destroyed.
Emails and digital communications are stored securely and deleted when no longer needed.
If you contact me via my website, any information you provide will only be used to respond to your enquiry and will not be stored longer than necessary.

You are welcome to email diary entries, artwork, or photographs for use within sessions. I will acknowledge receipt but will not provide therapeutic responses outside of sessions.
